Welcome to STEMA Math Practice (the “Service”), a free online math-practice website operated by TipTop Academy Inc., which operates STEMA Learning Centre in British Columbia, Canada (“STEMA”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

  • Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older.
  • You may add up to three (3) child profiles to your account for your own children or wards.
  • You are responsible for supervising your child’s use of the Service and for all activity under your account.

2. Your account

  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that are inactive, misused, or that violate these Terms.

3. Free service

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features, grades, or content at any time, and we may introduce paid features in the future. If we ever do, we will let you know before any charge applies.

4. Acceptable use

  • Use the Service only for its intended educational purpose.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, including in a profile image.

5. Content & intellectual property

All questions, curriculum, text, graphics, and software that make up the Service are owned by STEMA or its licensors and are provided for your family’s personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell any part of the Service without our written permission.

6. Communications

By creating an account you agree that we may send you emails related to the Service, such as account verification, important notices, product updates, and occasional news about STEMA Math Practice. You can ask us to stop sending non-essential emails at any time by contacting us (essential account and security emails may still be sent).

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the practice content will suit every curriculum. To the fullest extent permitted by law, STEMA is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On deletion, your account and associated child profiles and progress are removed from the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
